Young G. Edwards, son of Isom C. EDWARDS & Linea "Linnie" HACKLER, was born May 2, 1855, Ashe Co., NC, and died Oct. 25, 1880, in Alleghany Co., NC, at the age of 25. He married Sarah Frances Cheek, daughter of Richard "Dixie" CHEEK & Martha "Patsy" JENNINGS, June 30, 1877, in Alleghany Co., NC. She was born abt. 1858, Ashe Co., NC, and died 1946 in Harford Co., MD. Sarah remarried in 1886 to Green Berry TODD. Young G. Edwards is buried at the Isom C. Edwards cemetery near Glade Creek Church, Alleghany Co., NC. Sarah Cheek Todd is buried at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Harford Co., MD.
