Henry Wagoner son of Adam WAGONER, Sr., & Nancy HOLLOWAY, was born abt. 1794 in Wilkes Co., NC, and died 1885 in Ashe Co., NC. He married (1) Sarah Hoppers, daughter of Daniel HOPPERS & Anna Maria FENDER, abt. 1810. She was born May 27, 1797, probably in NC, and died Nov. 13, 1829, in Ashe Co., NC. Sarah (Hoppers) Wagoner is buried at the John Hoppers Cemetery on Road 1135 in Alleghany Co., NC. He married (2) Ellen "Nelly" Taylor, abt. 1831. She was born abt. 1814 in NC, and died between 1880-1900 in Ashe Co., NC.
