Mar. 28, 1860. Allen WAGNER reported the death of his father-in-law, John ANDERS. (Grayson Co. VA Death Register).

Note: John Allen Wagoner was apparently living in March 1860 when he reported his father-in-law's death, but by the time the 1860 census was taken, he cannot be found and Mary is listed with her son Allen. This suggests that John Allen Wagoner died sometime in 1860. In 1870 and 1880, Mary was living with her son Adam.
