He married Eda Caroline "Eadie" Edwards, daughter of Isaac EDWARDS & Gilly CHEEK, Aug. 30, 1868, in Alleghany Co., NC. She was born Aug. 4, 1848, in Ashe Co., NC, and died Nov. 14, 1943, in Grayson Co., VA. Solomon and Eadie Willey are buried at the Pleasant Home Union Baptist Church, Road 1412, Alleghany Co., NC.
