Henry R. Richardson, son of Alexander RICHARDSON & Martha CHEEK, was born May 28, 1853, in Ashe Co., NC, and died Feb. 16, 1920, in Grayson Co., VA. He married Nancy Cornelia "Nellie" Choate, daughter of Joshua Sabret CHOATE & Margaret "Peggy" FENDER, Sept. 19, 1871, in Alleghany Co., NC. She was b. Nov. 13, 1855, in Grayson Co., NC, and d. Apr. 6, 1942, in Grayson Co., VA. Henry and Cornelia are buried at the Crab Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Hwy 18 at Road 1450 near Ennice, Alleghany Co., NC.

Notes
enry R. Richardson was the youngest son of Alexander Richardson & Martha Cheek of Ashe/Alleghany County. Henry and his wife, Nancy Cornelia "Nellie" CHOATE, daughter of Joshua Sabret Choate & Peggy Fender, lived most of their lives in the Gap Civil Township of Alleghany County. Henry was a farmer and a carpenter. They had fourteen children (one died at birth). Henry and Nellie moved to Galax, Virginia, shortly before their deaths, but they are buried at the Crab Creek Church in Alleghany County, NC, along with many members of the Richardson family.
