Thompson Kennedy, son of William B. KENNEDY & Rachel THOMPSON, was born Feb. 10, 1829, in Wilkes Co., NC, and died Aug. 13, 1900, in Alleghany Co., NC. He married Sarah Edwards, daughter Young EDWARDS, Jr., & Catherine COX, abt. 1851. She was born Aug. 5, 1832, in Ashe Co., NC, and died Aug. 1, 1894, in Alleghany Co., NC. Thompson and Sarah Kennedy are buried at the Glade Creek Church in Hooker, Alleghany Co., NC.

Brother THOMPSON KENNEDY was born Feby 10th 1829, died Aug. 13th 1900, age 71 years 6 months and 8 days. He was married to Sarah Edwards Dec. 1851. Unto them were born three sons of whom two are still living. His kind and christian wife, preceeded him to the Glory Land. Sister Sarah Kennedy having departed this life Aug. 10th 1894, age 61 years 4 months and 22 days. Farewell dear brother and sister till we meet in that bright world.
